Frequently Asked Questions
How many sessions will I need?
For Quitting smoking most people stop with just one session, but very occasionally someone may need two to three sessions. Unlike many other issues like weight loss or anxiety disorders the results for quitting smoking are usually immediate.
Straight after your first session, you will begin to establish new thoughts and patterns. You will eliminate the old behaviours and habits that were holding you back.
What is your success rate?
If you want to quit and are ready to quit you will quit with the Quit Smoking Program.
The method is extremely effective and efficient. We have an excellent success rate. Out of 100 clients, only 3 to 4 require a backup session. Those who need more time get the support and help they need until they are a confident non-smoker.
I’ve tried patches and nicotine chewing gum and they did not work?
With patches etc. the nicotine is still getting into your system. Smoking is a habit and a psychological addiction which is why hypnosis is so effective with this problem. Hypnotherapy is more effective than other methods such as nicotine chewing gum or patches.
Hypnotherapy does not have any harmful side effects.
Will I still get the cravings afterward?
Most of my clients do not have cravings after the hypnotherapy. The goal of hypnosis is to make you feel extremely proud and positive about being a non-smoker.
I went to someone once before and it didn’t work?
There could be a number of reasons why it didn’t work for you – maybe you were not ready and did not really want to quit or maybe you were nervous and not able to relax into the hypnosis.
I always work with my clients until they are confident they are a non-smoker for life.
What will I feel?
You will feel very relaxed. Everyone experiences hypnosis in their own way and that can range from a state of full awareness to a state of deep relaxation. The hypnotic feeling is very similar to how you feel in the evening just prior to falling asleep.
