What is hypnotherapy?
The most straightforward way to explain what is hypnotherapy is: hypnotherapy is a form of relaxation therapy that makes you more susceptible to positive suggestions.
How many sessions will I need?
For quitting smoking most people stop with just one session, but very occasionally someone may need a couple of back-up sessions. Unlike other issues such as weight loss or anxiety disorders the results for quitting smoking are usually immediate.
Straight after your first session, you will begin to establish new patterns. You will eliminate the old behaviours and habits that were holding you back.
How much does the program cost?
The program investment is $599 which includes a 2-hour session plus a backup session and phone support, if required.

What is your success rate?
If you want to quit and are ready to quit you will quit with the Quit Smoking Program.
The method is extremely effective and efficient. We have an excellent success rate. Out of 100 clients, only 3 to 4 require a backup session. Those who need more time get the support and help they need until they are a confident non-smoker.
I’ve tried patches and nicotine chewing gum and they did not work?
With patches etc. the nicotine is still getting into your system. Smoking is a habit and a psychological addiction which is why hypnosis is so effective with this problem. Hypnotherapy is more effective than other methods such as nicotine chewing gum or patches.
Hypnotherapy does not have any harmful side effects.
Will I still get the cravings afterward?
Most of my clients do not have cravings after the hypnotherapy. The goal of hypnosis is to make you feel extremely proud and positive about being a non-smoker.
I went to someone once before and it didn’t work?
There could be a number of reasons why it didn’t work for you – maybe you were not ready and did not really want to quit or maybe you were nervous and not able to relax into the hypnosis.
I always work with my clients until they are confident they are a non-smoker for life.
What will I feel?
You will feel very relaxed. Everyone experiences hypnosis in their own way and that can range from a state of full awareness to a state of deep relaxation. The hypnotic feeling is very similar to how you feel in the evening just prior to falling asleep.
Hypnosis is a state of relaxation. During this state, the mind is open to making the change on an unconscious level. You will feel aware of what is going on and in complete control at all times. You will hear everything said and will remember everything that takes place.
How does Hypnotherapy work?
Hypnotherapy puts you in a deeply relaxed and calm state of mind which make you open to suggestion. Through Hypnosis you will focus directly on a goal to achieve positive change to be able to quit smoking. Hypnosis will strengthen your will-power. Through hypnosis will be able to re-program a belief you have and break triggers and associations.

Expectations: The feelings and experiences during the hypnotic state can vary from individual to individual. Many people remain completely aware of everything that is going on while in hypnosis. The feeling is of deep relaxation and some most describing the hypnotic state as a state of deep relaxation while remaining completely alert. Please note results may differ from person to person. It is important to understand that hypnotherapy is not a ‘magic pill’. It requires that the client is committed to change and be prepared to make the effort to make that change a reality. Hypnotherapy requires commitment and motivation to gain the best results. Part of the progress happens in the therapy room, and part is achieved through support strategies and homework. As a client, you must commit to engaging with the process both during the session and afterward, by engaging in support strategies and homework that you are given.
Duration of Therapy: A committed and motivated client is likely to their goals. A guide to therapy duration and the number of sessions required will be provided at the initial consultation however this will be regularly reviewed during your therapy and any changes to this will be discussed with you. Therapy duration and number of sessions estimates are based on those provided to previous clients, however, as all clients and conditions are unique these estimates are subject to change.
Investment: Our current per session fee or fee for a program of sessions will be confirmed over the phone prior to the appointment booking along with the number of sessions. A deposit is payable in advance of each therapy session and the remaining investment due on the date of the agreed session. All deposits are non-refundable. The client’s credit can be used at a future date to finalise payment.
Deposits: To secure the appointment a non-refundable deposit for the Quit Smoking Program the deposit must be processed at the time of booking.
Payment methods: All major credit cards are accepted, Square, Bank Transfer. Bank details are available on request. All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. Our prices are subject to change. Where receipts are requested by the client, they will be sent by e-mail.
Cancellation Policy: When we schedule an appointment for you, we deem that scheduled appointment as a definite booking and as such we will be investing preparation time prior to your appointment, in order to give you tailor-made treatment. From time to time we understand that situations may arise causing changes to agreed session times, we are happy to reschedule at no charge given notice outside 48 hours notice. Changing an appointment within 48 hours of the session will result in the remaining agreed balance being charged. The session can be conducted at a later date with no further costs.
Punctuality: We appreciate prompt arrival for appointments. Please notify us as soon as possible if you will be late. Twenty-four-hour notice of cancellation allows us to use the time for others. If you are running late or anticipate running late for your session, please leave a message (calls are not answered when working with a client) or send a text to 0412 352 429. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate lost time, this is not always possible and therefore please understand that the session may have to finish at the originally scheduled finish time.
Confidentiality: We keep all information we receive from you, confidential, and do not disclose it to persons outside our company. All client information is kept strictly confidential.
Cancellations & Refunds
The non-refundable deposit for the Quit Smoking program must be processed by credit or debit card over the phone on booking of the appointment to secure the appointment date.
Our rescheduling policy requires at least 24 hours notice. Any request to reschedule a session will not be unreasonably withheld.
